If you can find one, the Super Duke GT would be my sport tourer of choice. Second would be 1290 SAS. I’ve been in this predicament for years. I also have a wife that loves touring with me. The 1290 is damn near perfect with the exception of how tall it is. If you can handle the 1290’s height and weight it’s definitely the right choice. They are good quality and have been running them for the last 5 years clocked about 60,000 miles in them on the 1190 Adventure. Picked up a 2020 KTM 1290 Super Duke GT and even with my stubby legs I feel so much better on this bike in the parking lot action or coming to a stop on an off camber. And these boots help. I recommend highly.
