Unpopular advice, but if Forza games are important to you I'd suggest dual booting. They run so much better on Windows. Both Horizon 4 and 5 are a locked 60 at native res, "high" present. And I do mean locked. Forza Motorsport 7 too. Horizon 3 runs like shit but then it always does.
In my limited experience of fh5, the best way to beat the higher difficulties is to do the two things the drivatars won’t. Namely, drift/scandi flick in hairpins, and cut corners. Once you buy it, you can play it until the servers get shut down, which should be longer than the 4 years. FH5. You could get game pass for a month since FH5 is on there. Play it for 30 days and if you like it you can buy it or just stay on game pass. Bonus: FH4 is also still on game pass, so you could play both.
Since Horizon 4 came out in 2018, it will get delisted by October 2022. However, it will be announced about 30-45 days in advance with a 75% off sale on everything. I recommend getting the FH4 Expansion Fortune Island. Horizon 5 will get delisted in Fall 2025. The new Forza Motorsport if released in Spring 2023 will get delisted on Spring 2027.
FH3 is the last Forza Horizon. Come on now, fh4 ended up pretty great too. Bit shit at release but it got there in the end. So so. it's a good game indeed and I like a lot the physics, but the festival vibes and summer vibes are dead in FH4 and 5, which was the peak point in Horizon 1/2/3.
It’s pretty single player if you want it to be, you will miss out on some horizon playlist stuff which is just challenges that can give you a new car or something but other then that it can be played completely online
